Unit 3: My goals for physical, spiritual and psychological well-being :)
Setting a goal for all three of these aspects for well-being don't take much energy. I feel that I am on the right path in continuing to sustain my goal I had set forth 3 years ago to keep my physical health and well-being. I work hard everyday and I feel the satisfaction after my workouts, not just the physical satisfaction from the exercising but also my mindset. I have cleared out any negatives that I may have developed throughout the day or any issues I may be stressing on. I use that time to think out problems or issues along with keeping my physical strength. I am always setting spritual goals with myself, telling myself that I will try to go to church more often, however I know that my spritual belief system is still on track and I know what I have to do to keep it on track. Right now all these aspects just take sustainment and continual work and energy to keep it going.
Unit 3 Relaxation post Rainbow Meditation
I really like this exercise, I have used it prior in my stress class and have found it to be a very good relaxation technique. However you have to do it when you are in a silent environment. I tried it with my son in the house and with him asleep. It worked better when he was asleep. haha. Being able to truelly focus on the imagery as the man is reading this exercise to you allows you to really feel the colors. I would not be able to explain that but it is all in the mind. You can feel the red, orange, yellow, the blues and the purple at the end. I would really recommend this to many of my family and friends. His voice is soooo relaxing and calming. I think it is very important for people to find their center within and find their true balance in life. This makes so much more for a happier individual :) .
Unit 3 Relaxation and understanding of where I am
Looking at where I am at as an individual and my home life with my family, having to rate all these important factors in my life is not too difficult. I often sit and think about my life and where I am at and what I need to improve on to make me a better person within and find my peace.
For the first part of this blog we are to rate from 1-10 where we see our physical well-being, spiritual well-being and phychological well-being.
I go to the gym atleast 5 days a week and train very hard, regardless of my arthritis. I have been mentally working to overcome this dissabiltiy and I can honestly say that my mental stimulation and strength are what are getting me through to achieve my current physical state at 6. I am not at the point I wish I could be at but I do work hard to be where I am by maintaining my exercise regiment and continiously working on eatting the right foods.
As for my spiritual well-being, I think I would rate myself at a 7. I do not go to mass every weekend, but I do pray alot. This is what helped me through the loss of my father and keep me going to help continue to keep my family strong and whole. Everyday I wake I thank the good lord for giving me another day of life, and every night I thank him or keeping me safe and for keeping my famly, relative and friends safe as well.
When I think about my phychological state of mind and well-being, I think I am on the right track with how I see myself and would rate myself at a 7. I work very hard everday to see the good in things and people as well as life. I know that I have to keep my mind strong and continue working on completing my assignments for school, so this keeps me mentally strong. I do have days that I get sad and have to push myself to do what I have to that is why I would not rate it any higher than 7. :)

unit 2 Relaxation post
Well this was a very good relaxation for me at this current time. I am a stay at home mom, with my child out on summer break. Been doing laundry, floors and house cleaning this am, and sitting down for this technique could not have come at a better time. I really felt the purpose that transference brings to the body. Now I can go back later in the day and try this with my legs, since yesterday was leg day at the gym. I am really enjoying this blogging, technology is a fun way of life if you have the time to sit and play. :)
Enjoy the beauty of nature and the day everyone :)..

Relaxation and transfering blood about the body
just finished this weeks relaxations technique of transfering blood flow form my core, sitting in a very relaxed position. No noise around me, just the sound of my breathing. It is amazing how the mind can actually set focus on a specific part of the body, and flow the blood to that. I felt the warmth in my hand and my arms. They felt like they had swelled from the blood and I did feel the warmth. This was a very good relaxation moment for me, it all takes focus and quietness around you to get to the point of total relaxation. :)
